Consistency is what makes support fast

In a standardized fleet a fix that works once works everywhere. In a mixed one, every ticket starts as an investigation.

Windows problems in a business are rarely about a single machine. They are about consistency. When every computer has a slightly different configuration, a slightly different set of installed software and a slightly different update state, every support request becomes an investigation rather than a known fix.

Standardization

We build a standard image for your business: operating system, applications, settings, security configuration and printer mappings, all defined once. A new machine is deployed from that image and is genuinely ready in about twenty minutes rather than a scattered afternoon of installers and licence keys.

The support benefit is larger than the deployment benefit. When machines are consistent, a fix that works on one works on all of them, and problems that would be mysterious in a mixed environment become recognizable immediately.

Update policy

Windows updates are necessary and the default handling of them is hostile to working adults. Machines restarting during a presentation, feature updates arriving unannounced and changing behavior, and an update failing quietly on a machine that then sits unpatched for months.

We manage this properly: updates tested before broad deployment, scheduled outside working hours, deferred long enough to avoid the first-week problems that accompany major releases, and reported on so a machine that has silently stopped updating is visible rather than forgotten.

Windows 11

Windows 10 support ended in October 2025, so this has moved from a planning question to an operational one. Some hardware cannot run Windows 11 due to the TPM and processor requirements, which means a migration is partly a hardware replacement conversation.

We inventory what you have, identify what can be upgraded in place, what needs replacing, and what could plausibly wait, then sequence it so the cost lands across quarters rather than in one alarming month. Running unsupported Windows past end of life is a risk your insurer may specifically ask about.

Endpoint management

Beyond deployment, managed endpoints report their state continuously: what is installed, what is patched, whether encryption is enabled, whether protection is running. That inventory is what makes it possible to answer a security questionnaire honestly, and what turns a lost laptop from a crisis into a remote wipe.

Scope

What is included

Everything below is part of the service rather than an upsell discovered later.

Standard image build

One defined configuration deployed consistently, so a new machine is ready in twenty minutes and every fix generalizes.

Managed update policy

Updates tested, scheduled outside working hours, and reported on so silently failing machines surface quickly.

Windows 11 migration

Hardware inventoried against requirements, upgrades sequenced across quarters rather than arriving as a single expense.

Endpoint inventory and reporting

Continuous visibility of what is installed, patched, encrypted and protected across every managed machine.

Device encryption

BitLocker deployed and keys escrowed properly, so a lost laptop is a remote wipe rather than a disclosure event.

Application deployment

Software installed, updated and licensed centrally instead of individually on twenty-three machines.

Common questions

Windows 10 support has ended. How urgent is upgrading?

Urgent. Machines running an operating system that no longer receives security updates are a standing exposure, and cyber insurers increasingly ask about it directly. We can sequence the work across quarters, but it should be underway rather than scheduled.

Some of our computers cannot run Windows 11. What now?

Those machines need replacing, and the TPM and processor requirements are not negotiable through supported means. We inventory exactly which ones, prioritize by role and risk, and spread the replacement across a timeline your budget can absorb.

Can you stop Windows from restarting during the workday?

Yes. Active hours, deferral policies and scheduled maintenance windows are all configurable through proper endpoint management. The default behavior is genuinely disruptive and it is entirely avoidable.
